Samaritan Daytop Foundation champions the work of Samaritan Daytop Village, raising funds through financial and in-kind donations from individual, business, and community supporters.

For 60 years, New Yorkers have turned to Samaritan Daytop Village (SDV) for support during times of great adversity.

With each passing decade, SDV has adapted and grown to ensure the health and wellness of the most vulnerable. Today, SDV serves over 33,000 people annually through our life-changing services for adults, adolescents, children, seniors, families, and veterans.

Samaritan Daytop Village provides a variety of services to assist the most vulnerable New Yorkers:

• Addiction treatment

• Recovery programs

• Health and mental health services

• Shelter and housing

SDV services are more critical than ever in response to the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, opioid epidemic, economic downturn, and racial injustice.
