Do GOOD, and Give This Season!
Support Our Year End Appeal 2025

Give Where Good Lives.

Donate before December 31st, so you can help us support the over 43,000 New Yorkers we shelter and serve annually.

Your generosity will help Samaritan Daytop Village and Health improve the lives of each client in our care and support our staff as they help others reach their full potential.

Help transform the lives of vulnerable New Yorkers!
New York City lost more than 3,000 New Yorkers to overdose deaths last year. It doesn’t have to be this way. Jesus, Rachel, Miranda, and dozens of other peers work in our recovery program to support thousands of New Yorkers in their recovery journeys.

Do Good this giving season, and donate to the Samaritan Daytop Foundation so we can do even more.

Every day, Jesus Her
nandez uses his lived experience to reach New Yorkers who are struggling with substance use disorder.

He makes a real difference, from reversing overdoses to handing out warm clothes.

Be a doer like Jesus.

For Rachel Marshall, counseling is a calling and something she does well. Not long ago, she was on her own path to recovery at Samaritan Daytop Village. Today, she uses her lived experience to support young mothers in recovery at our Young Mothers Program. This unique place helps mothers keep their children while they are in the residential recovery program.

A committed and fierce advocate for her program participants, Rachel does what it takes to help them achieve their goals.

Be A Doer Like Rachel.

Be the person you needed when you were younger” is Miranda’s mantra. As Assistant Program Director at the 53rd Street Men’s Shelter, she turns that mantra into daily action. When she’s not helping run the shelter, she’s listening to clients who need a compassionate ear.

If running a shelter isn’t enough, Miranda spent a year and a half studying to obtain a Masters of Social Work degree from Stony Brook University to provide even more support to the people she serves.

Miranda is doing it all,
